Fauve is a warm cognac tone. At condition 4 the leather shows surface scratches, corner softening, and the handling marks that Box accumulates with use. Collector's Insight: Box leather on the Kelly Relax is an unusual specification. Most Relax production used Swift or Sikkim because their softer hand suits the unstructured format. Box is stiffer and holds fold lines, giving the bag a more defined character than the same model in Swift. The trade-off is that Box shows wear more visibly, particularly at corners and fold points. The Kelly Relax was produced in limited quantities between approximately 2008 and 2014 and has not been in consistent production since.

Resale Insight: Box leather Kelly Relax bags are among the less common material specifications for this format. Condition 4 on a Box travel bag is consistent with a piece that has been used for its intended purpose.
