The technique requires substantially more material and atelier labor than standard panel construction, and Hermès has not reintroduced Vibrato in the nearly two decades since the program closed. This Kelly 32 Retourné is rendered in a vibrant saturated Vibrato palette — strips spanning orange, mustard yellow, dove grey, turquoise, white, magenta, green, and red across the front and back panels, gusset, and base — framed by smooth Natural leather at the top trim, sangles, handle, sides, base trim, and clochette. The vibrant multicolor palette represents the classic deployment of Vibrato where the technique was most often used to demonstrate Hermès' suede color-mixing capability across the spectrum, contrasting with rarer monochrome Vibrato executions.
