Two rarities meet in this piece. Hermès produces far fewer Himalaya Kellys than Birkins, and standard Himalaya production is Niloticus; this example is Porosus, the smallest and most symmetrical scale in the hierarchy, an exception within the treatment. The gradation transitions from pearly white at the center to smoky grey at the edges, and the lightening process demands skins pristine enough to survive it, which is where most candidate hides fail.
Retourne construction carries interior stitching and soft, piped edges, a relaxed posture against the rigid Sellier. At 28 centimeters the format moves from day to evening, and cool Palladium keeps the icy register unbroken.

Resale Insight: Himalaya Kellys surface on the secondary market far less often than the Birkins, and Porosus examples are rarer still. Demand for the 28 concentrates among collectors who want the treatment in its most carryable Kelly proportion.
