Two exterior side pockets with CC turn-lock closures reference the Classic Flap's front clasp. The top closes with a central CC turn-lock that feeds a chain drawstring through grommets, cinching the opening and adjusting the bag's profile. Suede calfskin is a napped finish: the hide's inner surface is brushed to raise a soft pile rather than finished smooth. It gives the quilted pattern a matte, textural depth that smooth or grained calfskins do not produce. The dark brown reads as a true chocolate, warm and neutral without red or gray pull. The trade-off with suede is maintenance: the napped surface absorbs moisture and oils more readily than finished leather and is more susceptible to staining and color transfer.
