The Lapis Lazuli is cut into rounded heart-shaped petals with uniform deep blue saturation and minimal pyrite veining. Van Cleef & Arpels selects for consistency across all six stones, which is why the blue reads as a single unbroken field when the petals are viewed together rather than six individual pieces. The diamond Fleurette at center provides scale contrast: six small brilliant-cut stones surrounded by radiating gold wire stamens against the matte mineral surface of the Lapis. Yellow gold setting warms the blue without competing with it.
