Kelly 35 Lakis in Vert Anglais Swift with Ecru/Vert Anglais Toile Riga pocket panels and Palladium hardware. The Lakis format: two zippered cargo pockets on the front, one large zippered pocket on the rear, wide detachable shoulder strap. All the Gaultier-era utility DNA. This example uses Toile Riga for the pocket panels, a woven striped canvas in alternating ecru and dark green that echoes the Vert Anglais leather framing it. The stripe runs vertically on both front pockets, divided by the center zip pull. The rest of the bag is Vert Anglais Swift: flap, handle, side panels, base, and strap.

Vert Anglais is a deep forest green, dark enough to read as near-black in low light but unmistakably green in daylight. On Swift the color has a smooth, saturated depth. The Toile Riga lightens the overall composition and reduces weight significantly compared to an all-leather Lakis at this size. The mixed-media construction gives the bag a sporting character that references Hermès's equestrian heritage through material rather than hardware. Palladium H lock on the clochette. Collector's Insight: The Toile Riga Lakis is one of the more visually distinctive Lakis variants. Most Lakis production used solid canvas or all-leather construction; the striped Riga canvas adds a textile dimension that no other Lakis specification shares. Vert Anglais was a limited-run color that Hermès retired years ago. The combination of a discontinued leather color with a discontinued model in a non-standard canvas makes this a triple-constrained piece. The Lakis was produced in small numbers during Gaultier's tenure (2003–2010) and has not been reissued.
