Kelly 28 Sellier Horseshoe Special Order in Gris Agate Ostrich with Vert Titien Ostrich trim and Brushed Gold hardware. Three Special Order specifications converge on a single piece. The bi-color configuration places Gris Agate, a luminous pale grey, on the body panels, with Vert Titien, a deep saturated forest green, on the handle, sangles, and strap. On ostrich the quill follicle pattern creates a natural polka-dot texture across both colors, with each follicle reading as a slightly darker tonal dot against its ground. The two colors share enough tonal weight to read as complementary rather than contrasting.

Ostrich in Sellier construction is technically demanding. The raised follicles must be navigated during the external top-stitching that defines Sellier's straight, sharp edges. Most ostrich Kellys are produced in Retourne, where the turned construction avoids this challenge. Sellier ostrich requires a higher-skilled artisan assignment and produces more rejects, which limits output further. Brushed Gold hardware has a satin finish that reads warmer and more muted than polished Gold, complementing the organic texture of the ostrich rather than competing with it.
