Designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, this shorter, elongated version of the classic Birkin was designed to fit on the shoulder, hence the name Shoulder Birkin. This bag is very rarely seen in exotics, making this example an excellent addition to the collectors closet. The exterior is Shiny Fuchsia Porosus Crocodile and features two rolled handles, a lock, keys, and clochette. The interior is done in Fuschia Chevre Leather. Kept in Excellent condition but a seasoned and discerning collector. This is the original JPG, with different hardware that was later available on what is known as a JPG 2 .
The 42cm is the balanced silhouette. Interior is lined in matching Chevre leather with one zip pocket and one open pocket. Signature turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the hardware configuration.
