Hermès Birkin 30 Touch Shiny Bleu Marine Nilo Crocodile Black Novillo Palladium Hardware
The Touch Birkin sets exotic skin on the parts of the bag the hand meets: here the top flap, rolled handles and sangles are shiny Bleu Marine niloticus crocodile, and the body is black Novillo, a fine-grained calfskin.

The story behind the Birkin
Originated in 1984 from a conversation between Jane Birkin and Hermès Executive Chairman Jean-Louis Dumas; its structural lineage traces to the Haut à Courroies. Familiar sizes are 25, 30, 35 and 40 cm, alongside miniature, shoulder and travel versions, in both Retourné and Sellier construction.
Discover Hermès Birkin BagsDeep navy against black keeps the contrast quiet, read more in texture than in color, with the glazed scales catching light against the grained body. Palladium hardware keeps the palette cool.
Collector's Insight:
Touch Birkins keep the exotic to the trim, which lets the bag stand up to regular use while still carrying crocodile where it shows.
Resale Insight:
Buyers check the crocodile handles and flap edge for glaze wear and water marks, since those take the most contact, and the Novillo corners for scuffs.
