The Baginizer
A Birkin left standing empty will settle. The sides bow inward, the base softens, and over a few seasons the silhouette a collector paid for begins to slacken. Jane designed this insert to hold the interior open from within, so the bag keeps its architecture whether it is carried daily or resting on a shelf.
The structure does protective work as well. Keys, pens and cosmetics never reach the leather lining, which is where the scuffs and ink marks that cost real money at resale usually begin. Compartments hold contents upright and separated, so nothing presses against the interior walls or collects at the bottom of the bag.
Each size is cut to a specific set of models rather than sold as a universal fit, which is why the insert sits flush against the interior instead of slumping into the corners. Lifting it from one bag into another takes a moment, and everything inside travels in the same arrangement.
