The HAC à Dos is the backpack-format adaptation of the Haut à Courroies, the original Hermès saddle-carrying bag designed by Émile-Maurice Hermès in 1892 that later inspired the Birkin silhouette. This PM execution scales the format to a compact slung silhouette with the Birkin-derived turn-lock and sangles applied to a vertical body rather than the horizontal Birkin orientation. Horseshoe Special Order designation, with Multico configuration: Noir Togo across the body and Craie Swift on the sangles, producing graphic high-contrast against the dark ground. The integrated adjustable canvas Sangle Amazone strap allows shoulder or crossbody carry, with Palladium hardware throughout.
