Hermès Birkin 35 Canopee Army Green Togo Palladium Hardware
Hermès Birkin 35 Canopee Army Green Togo Palladium Hardware
Canopée is one of the deepest greens Hermès has cut, sitting between forest and military, and Togo's pebbled grain gives the color somewhere to move: it darkens in the recesses and lifts at the ridges, so the surface reads alive rather than flat. Palladium keeps the temperature cool, letting the green do the talking.
The 35 is one of the two original 1984 Birkin proportions, the working scale with genuine day-bag capacity. Turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the configuration, and this example wears its use lightly.

Collector's Insight: Only a handful of colors hold permanent places in the Hermès palette; greens cycle through in seasonal windows, and Canopée's window belongs to the early 2010s. Once a color rotates out, the examples produced during its run are the supply, which is why specific greens develop followings that outlast their seasons.
Resale Insight: The Birkin 35 in Togo carries steady demand from buyers who want the format at working scale, and discontinued colors add a second engine: the buyer who wants this green has no boutique path to it. Honest, lightly worn examples in rotated-out colors move on color match more than condition arithmetic.
