Hermès Kelly 20 Mini Sellier Black Noir Veau Doblis Suede Gold Hardware
Hermès Doblis suede bags are as rare as Himalayans, and have been sparsely produced for decades, coveted by collectors, they rarely come to market. Offered here an extremely rare black noir Veau Doblis Mini Kelly 20 With Gold Hardware Hermès - Circa 1992. This is a super rare Kelly in suede no longer produced by Hermès.
Hermès is a luxury house known for its high level of leather craft, but one type of leather is rarely used in Hermès’ bags - suede. This fuzzy material we’re all so familiar with comes from the underside of the skin, and is softer and more flexible than the outer layer. The reason Hermès rarely makes suede handbags is durability. The natural fibers that make suede fuzzy easily hold dirt and darken, and the material overall will wear through faster than leather with heavy use.
Material: Veau Doblis Suede
Collection: 1992, Circle V
The term "hardware" refers to the metallic parts of the bag, such as the buckle hardware, base studs, lock and keys and/or strap, which are plated with a colored finish (e.g. gold, silver, palladium). The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
