Chanel Paris-Dallas Holster Crossbody Black Tooled Leather Silver Hardware

From Chanel's 2014 Pre-Fall Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas collection, unveiled on the runway at Fair Park in Dallas. The holster is among the collection's most silhouette-extreme pieces: a gun-holster form rendered as a crossbody, the shape itself the statement.

The body is black tooled leather carrying hand-embossed floral-scroll motifs drawn from Texas saddlery and bootmaking, the relief catching light unevenly across the surface, overlaid with Chanel's diamond quilting.
