This is the space edition, with a rocket ship, a ringed Saturn and gold-tone star bursts layered across a black Veau Monsieur body, and lizard among the appliquéd details.
It closes with a kiss-lock clasp shaped as a red planet, set in palladium, and the multicolored appliqués read sharply against the smooth black calfskin.
Collector's Insight:
The Sac à Malice line builds small scenes in leather marquetry on a framed clutch, and the space edition, from late 2020, is one of its most graphic designs.
