Hermès Sabot Noir Epsom Gold Hardware

The Sabot takes its name from the French word for hoof, and the silhouette follows it literally: a curved, asymmetric body that tapers from a wide circular opening down to a narrower base, carried by a single arched handle. Braided leather lacing runs the exterior edges, referencing traditional saddlery. Epsom's embossed grain holds the sculpted shape precisely; a softer leather would collapse the profile the design depends on.
