The story behind the Kelly Cut
Introduced in 2008 as the successor to the Kelly Longue, which was discontinued that year. The clutch expression of the Kelly: the same turn-lock closure and signature flap in a flat, elongated east-west format.
Discover Hermès Kelly CutThe velvety soft texture is unique among Hermes’ materials. This Kelly Cut is done in verdant Vert Verone Doblis, allowing for a sensuous sense of touch as you grasp this clutch. Verona Green is an ancient pigment derived from celadonite and used by Romans, its rich turquoise offers an unmatched jewel tone. This store-fresh Kelly Cut is both fun and special.
The Kelly Cut is the clutch expression of the Kelly silhouette, with the same turn-lock closure and signature flap in a flat, elongated format. Interior features a flat pocket. The form is designed for evening use, holding essentials without the structure of the full Kelly.
