Matte niloticus has a soft, flat hand, and the scale pattern runs the full length of the strap.
The Kelly buckle is solid 18K white gold set with diamonds, cast and set in the jewelry workshop and then mounted on the leather. It closes exactly like the standard Kelly turn-lock, and the belt adjusts from 60 to 100 cm.
Collector's Insight:
Standard Kelly belts carry plated hardware. The Diamond Himalaya pairs the house's Himalaya finish with a buckle made as a piece of jewelry, which takes the leather atelier and the jewelry workshop working on one object.
