The story behind the Constance Slim
One of the wallets that take their shape from the Constance bag and its H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts to release the flap. Hermès designs the line to be slipped into a bag, carried on the shoulder or worn at the belt.
Discover Wallets, Clutches, PochettesThe Constance Slim in Rose Mexico Epsom with Palladium hardware is a compact wallet carrying the H clasp. Rose Mexico is a vibrant hot pink, brighter and more saturated than Rose Azalée, similar in intensity to Rose Shocking but with more magenta undertones. Epsom is pressed with a crosshatch grain that holds rigid structure permanently, which suits slim wallet construction.
Palladium hardware provides cool-toned contrast against the pink leather. The Constance Slim includes a detachable zippered coin purse and features a belt loop on the back. Two exterior card slots provide quick access. It can be carried as a clutch or worn crossbody with an optional chain strap, sold separately.
Collector's Insight:
Rose Mexico is a statement color Hermès produces intermittently rather than continuously. Epsom in bright colors shows saturation particularly well due to the leather's rigid structure. The detachable coin purse and belt loop make this more functional than standard Constance Slim versions.
Resale Insight:
Constance Slim wallets in statement colors trade at premiums over neutral versions. Bright pinks appeal to a specific collector base seeking bold accessories. Pristine condition matters significantly for small leather goods since they show wear at the edges quickly.
