The story behind the Birkin
Originated in 1984 from a conversation between Jane Birkin and Hermès Executive Chairman Jean-Louis Dumas; its structural lineage traces to the Haut à Courroies. Familiar sizes are 25, 30, 35 and 40 cm, alongside miniature, shoulder and travel versions, in both Retourné and Sellier construction.
Discover Hermès Birkin BagsRose Extreme is a saturated pink, closer to fuchsia than to blush, for a Birkin where the color is the point. On Togo the pebbled grain diffuses light across the surface, which softens the intensity.
Togo is more relaxed than Epsom's pressed rigidity, settling into itself with use, and its grain resists scratches. Palladium hardware keeps the bright pink cool.
