Birkin 25 in Lime Matte Alligator with Palladium hardware. Lime is one of the most saturated colors Hermès has applied to matte alligator, a bright yellow-green that reads electric in daylight and holds its intensity under artificial light. Matte finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which gives the color a chalky depth that shiny would turn into glare. The alligator scale pattern is visible across the full face of the bag in large, flat tiles. Palladium hardware is the cooler pairing and lets the color dominate. Plastic still on hardware.
