Vintage Hermès ‘Jigemetric’ Custom Painted Jige MM - 1984, Artwork 2022
The Jige clutch presents a simple geometric H in the center of an elegant rectangular frame. This was the starting point for the Victor Vasarely inspired artwork that adorns the body of this 1984 Evergrain Jige MM. The Evergrain leather gives the clutch a soft feel that allows the design to move and curve in the hand. The interior shows signs of use and wear from this clutch’s previous unpainted life, but the artwork is fresh and pristine, completed in 2022. The paints used are designed for leather accessories and should not chip, bleed or wear off with regular use.
