Hermès builds these in small numbers, since a travel bag in the Kelly language competes for the same atelier hours as the handbags and sells to a far narrower audience.

Togo is what makes the scale wearable. The raised, slightly irregular grain scatters light instead of returning it, so a panel this large reads matte and even rather than showing every shift in the hide, and the same grain absorbs the small marks that a smooth calf would record instantly across a bag meant to move.
