Hermès Kelly Pochette Geranium Shiny Alligator Gold Hardware

Geranium is a vivid, warm red with a tomato cast, and shiny alligator gives it depth. Light travels across the polished scales while the natural pattern stays clearly defined, the broad rectangular scales at the center of each panel growing smaller toward the sides.

The Pochette is the Kelly as a compact clutch: the flap, the straps across the front and the gold turn-lock are all here, with a flat, low-profile handle on top. The straps wrap around the sides and end in two pointed tabs on the back. Narrow triangular gussets keep the profile slim, so the broad front panel gives the pattern room to stand out without the bulk of a larger handbag.

The skin is Alligator mississippiensis, the American alligator, in the agate-polished shiny finish, and it covers every exterior piece, the flat handle included. Tonal stitching leaves the scales and the gold turn-lock to carry the front.
