Hermès Kelly 20 Mini II Sellier Gris Misty Epsom Electrum Hardware
Hermès Mini Kelly II Sellier Gris Misty Epsom Electrum Hardware
Sellier construction assembles the bag with edges facing outward and seams exposed, producing the rigid, architectural profile the format favors. Epsom's pressed grain amplifies the effect, creating clean planes that catch light uniformly across the surface. At 20 cm the geometry holds especially tightly, with every element of the full-size design scaled down without simplification: sangles, tournant, cadenas.
Gris Misty sits between warm and cool grey, reading almost silver under certain light. Lighter than Gris Perle, with subtle blue undertones that separate it from warmer neutrals like Étain. Electrum is Hermès's two-tone gold-palladium configuration, with the touret and rivets in gold and the plaque, sangles, pontet, feet, clochette, V-hook, and strap clasps in palladium. The finish appeared briefly in the late 1980s, went dormant for decades, and was quietly reintroduced in late 2024 on select Kelly 25, Mini Kelly II, 24/24, and Cinhetic production. K stamp places this at 2025, within the first full year of the reintroduction. Hermès hardware code CT.

Collector's Insight: Electrum production is tightly restricted to select styles and specific color pairings. The two-tone finish is not offered across the broader catalog, which makes any Electrum bag a documentation point for where Hermès chose to allocate the hardware. Mini Kelly II in Electrum is among the most constrained applications because the model's own allocation is already tight. Gris Misty is a newer cool neutral in the Hermès palette, and its pairing with Electrum sits in the quieter end of the specification range, away from the louder Electrum colorways that tend to be requested first.
Resale Insight: Electrum examples trade at a premium over standard Palladium or Gold Mini Kelly IIs because the hardware is a secondary allocation constraint on top of the model itself. Early reintroduction-year production (2024-2025) is the first modern Electrum window collectors are tracking, and provenance on these pieces will matter going forward. Pristine K-stamp with full set is the strongest forward-resale profile for the specification.
