Hermès Kelly 20 Mini II Sellier Gold Epsom Palladium Hardware
Hermès Mini Kelly 20 II Sellier Gold Epsom Palladium Hardware
The Mini Kelly II is Hermès' reissue of the original Mini Kelly, discontinued in the late 2000s and brought back in 2017 in the current 20 cm format. It is the smallest functional crossbody in the Kelly hierarchy, and Sellier construction at this size sits in a tighter allocation tier than Retourné, offered on a relationship basis rather than through open purchase.
Gold is the house's warm tan-camel, a foundation tone carried consistently across leathers and the neutral most collectors reach for first. On Epsom the fine cross-hatch embossing holds the color evenly across panels without grain distortion, and the leather's rigidity is what makes a bag this small keep its architecture instead of collapsing into a pouch. Palladium reads cool against the warm body, the temperature contrast that defines the pairing.
Sellier places the saddle stitching on the exterior, producing the sharp edges the format is built on. The interior is lined in Chèvre Mysore, and a G stamp places production in 2026.

Collector's Insight: The Mini Kelly 20 is among the hardest formats to be offered at retail, and Sellier narrows it further, since the rigid build in a bag this small leaves no margin for imprecision at the corners. Gold draws the broadest buyer pool of any Hermès neutral, spanning first Kelly buyers through long-tenure collectors, which keeps interest steady where seasonal colors move in cycles. In the Mini format the color reads younger and more casual than it does at 28, which is a large part of why this pairing is pursued.
Resale Insight: The Mini Kelly concentrates Kelly demand into the least-produced size, and current-year production in pristine condition with the full set is the strongest position the configuration reaches. Gold on Epsom carries no seasonal risk, so it holds interest across market cycles rather than tracking a color trend, and the Sellier build is the version buyers wait for.
