The story behind the Bijou de Sac
Hermès chain charm in palladium-plated metal and Barenia calfskin, made to clip to the handles of a Birkin 25, 30 or 35. It carries a polished mini Birkin, a lacquered apple and a leather-sheathed horseshoe, with a heart-shaped padlock, and is offered in Fauve with a Rouge de Cœur apple or in Noir with a green apple.

Along the palladium-plated chain hang a polished mini Birkin, a lacquered Rouge de Cœur apple, a leather-sheathed horseshoe and a heart-shaped padlock, with Fauve Barenia tabs at each end. The warm Fauve leather with cool palladium metal sits against the broadest range of Hermès bags in palladium hardware.
Collector's Insight:
The Bijou de Sac combines metal, leather and lacquer across four separate pieces, which makes it a more complex production piece than a single-element charm like the Rodeo, and it is not continuously available at boutique level. The lacquered apple is the only saturated color element, small enough to keep the charm compatible with a wide range of bag colors rather than tying it to one.
