Read the condition guide

Gris Ciment, French for cement gray, reads as a soft gray with a taupe cast under the shiny finish, and the scales grade from larger shapes at the center to a finer pattern toward the edges. Soufflet is French for bellows. The gusseted compartments open wider than a flat wallet's, so cards, coins and notes fit without the wallet turning bulky. Inside are five card slots, a zipped coin compartment and two flat pockets.

Collector's Insight:
The Béarn takes its name from the historic province in southwest France. On this example the tab is alligator as well, so the scales carry across the closure.

Resale Insight:
Exotic wallets are judged at the tab tip, the corners and the fold, where handling shows first, then on the interior compartments and how evenly the gloss holds across the scales.
