The Chanel 25 debuted in the Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection and follows the house's practice of naming bags for their release year. It is classified as a hobo but carries more structure than the term implies: a soft trapezoid silhouette with a flat base, quilted diamond pattern, and vertical proportions. Two exterior side pockets with CC turn-lock closures reference the Classic Flap's front clasp. The top closes with a central CC turn-lock that feeds a chain drawstring through grommets, cinching the opening and adjusting the bag's profile. Single shoulder strap in interlaced gold chain and dark brown leather.
Suede calfskin is a napped finish: the hide's inner surface is brushed to raise a soft pile rather than finished smooth. It gives the quilted pattern a matte, textural depth that smooth or grained calfskins do not produce. The dark brown reads as a true chocolate, warm and neutral without red or grey pull.
