Porosus crocodile is the most luxurious exotic skin from Hermès. It is created by polishing the spots with agate for a"Lisse Finish"to the leather of crocodile known as “salt water crocodiles” inhabiting in brackish waters and originating from Australia and Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore. Australian Saltwater Crocodile or more commonly called Porosus Crocodile is the most expensive and exclusive leather in the world.

The 25cm is the most compact option in the standard Birkin range, balanced silhouette. Interior is lined in matching Chevre leather with one zip pocket and one open pocket. Signature turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the hardware configuration.

Collector's Insight:
Porosus Crocodile production is constrained by raw material scarcity and limited annual output. Allocation within Hermès exotic bag production is among the most selective in the house.

Resale Insight:
The Birkin 25 is among the most consistently traded formats in the resale market. In a durable leather like Porosus Crocodile, it is built to be carried regularly rather than saved for occasions.
