First introduced in 2015 Cactus was the first and is still the only shade of exotic bright green Hermès produces in a matte finish. For years it was only available in Matte Alligator, and very few bags were produced, though recently Hermès has introduced a shiny Cactus as well. The best way to describe this shade is Kelly Green, although it's obvious why Hermès went with a different name. This 35cm Birkin is a pristine example, featuring the more desirable gold hardware, making this bag in effect a matte version of the ultra-rare Vert Emerald and Gold combo that so many collectors desire. Still today, Cactus is very rarely seen, and distinctly stands out from any other green Birkin.

The 35cm is the original size designed for Jane Birkin in 1984, balanced silhouette valued for its capacity as a functional day bag. Interior is lined in matching Chevre leather with one zip pocket and one open pocket. Signature turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the hardware configuration.
