Hermès Kelly 28 Retourne Himalayan Niloticus Crocodile Palladium Hardware
The 28cm Kelly Himalayan is one of the rarest and most desirable handbags in the world. This bag is made of Niloticus crocodile, rendered in a subtle coloration that is meant to evoke images of the majestic Himalayan mountains. This dyeing process is painstaking and takes many hours to complete—the lighter the hue, the more difficult the process. This is arguably one of the rarest, most spectacular, and most jaw-dropping Kelly’s ever made.
Niloticus crocodile skin is created by polishing the spots with agate for a "Lisse Finish" to the leather of crocodile originating from Africa. Niloticus means Nile River.

The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
