Hermès Birkin 35 Black Ardennes Gold Hardware
The classic 35cm Black Birkin from Hermès is a perennial favorite in our collection. Crafted from the exquisite, now discontinued, Ardennes leather, it's characterized by a large grain and a flat, structured form that retains its shape rather than slouching or flopping. This leather's impressive scratch resistance, coupled with a subtle, understated sheen that stops short of outright shininess, further enhances its appeal. While it's lighter and has a less pronounced texture compared to the Togo leather, the Ardennes is reminiscent of Hermès' currently used Vachette Liegee leather.
